About 755Alliance

755 Alliance Inc. was founded in July 2019 in response to the needs of the community to advocate and access government services to address residents’ quality of life issues.

The organization name represents the RT 755 Edgewood Rd corridor and the alliance of concerned citizens working together for the revitalization of our community.

Our advocacy efforts are anchored in quality of life issues such as:

  • Public safety (sidewalks, street lighting, crosswalks)
  • Public transportation (extended hours of operation, addition of weekend service - Edgewood circular) and,
  •  Recreational opportunities (install bleachers/lights at Cunion Field, establish
  • bike/walk trail to connect Flying Point Park with Mariner Point Park, build themed
  • playground in the open space at Cedar Dr)
  • Litter control (County established quarterly dumpster day for free bulk trash disposal)
  • Designate Edgewood as Main Street Affiliate community

Our efforts to assist households experiencing food, housing, and transportation

insecurities are as follows:

  • We raise funds to stock two community pantries located at the Edgewood Boys &
  • Girls Club. The pantries are stocked with non-perishable food items and essential toiletry/personal hygiene items. The units are not locked for 24/7 public access
  • We partnered with a Mobile Club to provide healthy snacks to children and toiletry bags to adults residing in communities with limited transportation
  • We raised funds to eliminate students’ existing school lunch debt ($25,000 since 2020 for sixteen schools along Rt 40 corridor)
  • We established an Emergency Fund to assist households with school-aged children, to halt court ordered eviction or assist with vehicle repairs to maintain employment (awarded $7,000 since January 2023)
